The business media Capital and the jobs and career development media Karieri have announced the 7th edition of the national contest for young managers and entrepreneurs Next Geneartion (capital.bg/next). The main aim of the contest is to distinguish young professionals with business and entrepreneurial experience and leadership potential.

Criteria

The jury of business leaders and former Next Geneartion winners will evaluate the entries on the basis of their personal career development, innovativeness, responsibilities, financial results and achievements on their current position.
The applicants should be up to 35 years old. They should also have at least 2 years of managerial experience and be currently working in Bulgaria.

Prizes

The jury will select 12 managers/entrepreneurs who will receive the title “Next Generation manager” as well as EMBA scholarships at CITY College – the international faculty of The University of Sheffiled for the total amount of 55 100 EUR. Events

During the application period Karieri, together with CITY College and in partnership with BNP Paribas will also organize a free career development event for young managers – Next Generation MBA Class. During the MBA Class last year’s Next Generation winner Ivaylo Penev, Portfolio Manager at Elana Fund Management will share his own recipe for professional success and will give advice to future applicants how to impress the jury of the Next Generation contest.

The main presentation will be made by Dr. Leslie Szamosi, Senior Lecturer and MBA Academic Director at CITY College who will share with the young managers and entrepreneurs 10 practical advices for career development.
