Experian continues to expand its team in Bulgaria

The leading global information services company, providing data and analytical tools to clients around the world,Experian plans to continue with the expansion of its team in Bulgaria. Over 450 experts work for the company at the moment, and that number is expected to increase significantly over this year. Maya Milanova, Site Operations Manager of Experian Bulgaria, said: “The Bulgarian office of Experian has been doubling its employee count every two years since 2006. In 2014, we made a commitment to the Bulgarian government to open 150 new jobs by the end of 2015 and we managed to keep this promise. “Our growth plans include another wave of dynamic expansion, with similar size and intensity. We have hired 50 new employees since the beginning of this year and at the moment we have over 70 job openings in more than 15 career paths.”

Experian plans for a long term investment in Bulgaria

The Bulgarian office is a major location for Experian’s software development. In total, approximately 200 engineers in software development and quality assurance work on the site. In addition, more than 25% of the analytical capacity of Experian worldwide operates from Sofia. The customer support centre was opened in Bulgaria three years ago. It is currently almost one third of Experian’s team in Bulgaria.  As of last year, a team with finance expertise was also established on the Bulgarian site.
