In two weeks JA Bulgaria organizes for 15th year in a row the most recognized and meaningful youth career orientation program, “Manager for a Day”. In 2016 it will take place on November 17th under the auspices of the President, Rossen Plevneliev. The initiative is designed to provide high-school and university students (16-23) with the opportunity to experience the personal and academic demands of daily business operations. Furthermore, “Manager for a Day” promotes experiential student learning and fosters productive relationships among business, education and the community. The initiative enjoys great success all over the world. Each year businessmen, politicians and leaders from all walks of life serve as role models to young people by transferring their knowledge and practical experience through a partnership with students.
JA Bulgaria’s team will be honored if all AmCham members register their companies as host-organizations and welcome young people in the office for an extraordinary working day! As a part AmCam is a partner and sponsor of the 2016 initiative, JA would like to compliment the members of the organization with free of charge registration. Please note, that the deadline for companies’ registration is November 5th 2016.

In 2015, over 300 state institutions and leading Bulgarian and international companies and non-government organizations took part in “Manager for a Day” giving chance to over 1000 students from language, mathematics and professional High schools and from the leading Bulgarian universities for an excellent start in their future professional career. Young “managers for a day” in previous editions of the initiative have been more than 15,000 students with mentors from over 2000 different companies and institutions in Bulgaria.
During the day of Manager for a Day in Sofia, around 450 students and top-level managers gather at an opening ceremony in the morning and we will be happy to have you as our dear guests, on November 17th, 9:30-10:30 at Innovation Forum “John Atanasoff”, Sofia Tech Park.
