Unique Love Bridge Exhibition on the occasion of Hilton Sofia’s 15th anniversary
Irresistible Hilton destinations, Hilton history milestones and key Hilton Sofia events are featured
SOFIA, BULGARIA – November 3, 2016. 15 years ago, a landmark hotel opened its doors in the Bulgarian capital, establishing itself as a prime location to stay, meet and celebrate in Sofia. To commemorate its anniversary, the hotel launched a series of 15 exciting activities highlighting Hilton Sofia’s turning point in Sofia’s hospitality industry.
One of the highlights in the anniversary calendar of the hotel is the Love Bridge Exhibition, which is held between 31 October and 14 November 2016.
The pedestrian bridge connecting Hilton Sofia with the National Palace of Culture has actually no name, but has always been known as “The Love Bridge”. That is because it is a commonly used place for meetings of young people in love.
The bridge is situated over one of the busiest crossroads in the city, a trendy spot to enjoy the colors of the sunset going down behind Hilton Sofia and the Vitosha Mountain. It is one of the tourist’s favorite spots and an open air gallery. Above the heavy traffic nice photographic exhibitions and sometimes festivals take place.
The Hilton Exhibition from 31 October showcases 30 fascinating destinations, reachable with direct flights from Sofia and feature their Hilton properties, 15 posters with amazing facts about Hilton’s history of nearly 100 years, and 15 key Hilton Sofia moments. The Sofia citizens will be able to get close to them as well as to the legacy of Conrad N. Hilton. Facts about the John Lennon and Yoko Ono “bed-In action” for peace at the Hilton Amsterdam, the writing of the holiday classic “White Christmas” and the “Digital key” of the new Hilton HHonors app will be revealed. Important events for Hilton Sofia – like the Grand Opening and the 15th Anniversary Party of the hotel – will be presented as well.
