BNP Paribas supports ‘PORTRAIT OF LIFE’, A PHOTO EXHIBITION BY SIGHTLESS PEOPLE

Graphya Foundation presents an exhibition with photographs taken by people with eyesight disabilities who have participated in a project “Camera Lucida” for sensorial photography. The project is implemented with the financial support of Sofia Municipality’s Culture Programme, in cooperation with Sofia City Art Gallery and in partnership with BNP Paribas.

The exposition gathers 25 photos by sightless or partially sighted people. “Camera Lucida” course is designed to help them learn how the camera works, how to handle it without assistance from sighted persons, and how to express themselves creatively through photography. Each participant creates photos on its own concept led by the ‘Portrait of Life’ context.

The authors of the exhibited photos: Nikolay Primov, Verka Stoyanova, Pancho Karamanski, Ivaylo Donkov, Emilia Gegova, Elena Karamanska, Ralitsa Staneva, Mihail Iliev.

The photo exhibition can be viewed until 5th of January 2017 in BNP Paribas’ Concept Store at 2, Tsar Osvoboditel blvd, Sofia.
