AMCHAM EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETS WITH THE IMF MISSION TO BULGARIA

On December 5th the AmCham Executive Committee met with the International Monetary Fund regular consultation mission under Article IV. The mission’s goal was to assess Bulgaria’s economic and financial development and discuss the country’s economic and financial policies.

Mr. Alejandro Hajdenberg, IMF Resident Representative from Bulgaria and Romania, Mr. Kei Muraki, Real sector and structural issues, Mr. Etienne Yeoue, External sector and Ms. Iglika Vassileva, Economist at the IMF Resident Representative Office in Bulgaria visited the AmCham office. The main topic of discussion was the AmCham White paper and the challenges and priorities it outlines for Bulgaria’s economic and buisness development, human capital development and the rule of law and law enforcement.
