Zoran Lazoroski is the new Managing Director of DB Schenker in Bulgaria.
He takes over the position officially with effect from 1st of January 2018, while staying responsible also for the company’s branch in Macedonia.
Mr. Lazoroski, who is Macedonian, graduated Macroeconomics and Industrial engineering at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. He begаn his logistics career 19 years ago as a Transport Manager/Dispatcher at the local company Makosped.
He started at the global logistics provider DB Schenker in 2001 as a Head of Land transport in Macedonia, and in 2006 Mr. Lazoroski became a Country Manager.
“In a service industry, especially in sectors where people are the biggest asset, there is nothing more important than satisfied customers and satisfied employees. Everything else comes second”, said Zoran Lazoroski regarding the future focus of his work, when responsible also for the Bulgarian branch of DB Schenker.
Helmut Schweighofer will continue being a Co-Manager for Bulgaria, while at the same time he is also the CEO of DB Schenker in Austria and South East Europe.
