Martin Muransky has joined TBI Bank’s senior management team as Chief Credit Officer.
Muransky will be responsible for the credit risk management regarding the core business area of Lending & Distribution (Retail). He will play a key role in major projects ensuring the development of technology-driven, agile and holistic credit risk management capabilities within TBI Bank.
Muransky is a senior risk leader with more than 20 years of experience in financial services. Starting his career in corporate banking, he later specialized in the field of consumer and commercial lending with GE Capital in the Czech Republic, Ireland and the US. He built up the SME risk function at Raiffeisen Group in Vienna, and worked as Chief Risk Officer of the Czech subsidiary of Sberbank Europe in Prague.
Prior to joining TBI Bank, Muransky helped to kick-start a Swiss-based e-commerce start-up.
He has a Master’s degree in Business Economy Sciences and an Executive MBA from IMD Business School – Switzerland. Muransky is a member of the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association (PRMIA) and the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). He is fluent in English, German, Czech, Slovak, and Hungarian.
