AmCham Board of Directors Defined the Chamber’s Priority Areas for 2018

On January 20th, 2018, the AmCham Board of Directors held its annual kick-off meeting with the aim to develop a strategic plan of Chamber’s activities for 2018.

Based on the policy recommendation of the 2017 AmCham White Paper and in view of the priority areas of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of EU, the Board identified the following focus areas for AmCham in 2018:

  • IoT/Industry
  • Privacy
2. Human Capital Development
  • Future of Work
  • Digital Education and Skills
  • Financial Entrepreneurship
  • Educational Reform (incl. Dual Education)
3. Entrepreneurship and Innovation
4. Environment

Other topics that remain relevant for AmCham are Rule of Law and stronger cooperation with Western Balkans’ countries.
