When it comes to our knowledge we do not limit ourselves to the best practices in Bulgaria but we are guided by the global trends, innovations and standards.

This is the reason why PM&P’s specialized personal data protection team partook once again in the biggest international conference on Computers, Privacy and Data Protection – CPDP 2018, held every year in Brussels, Belgium.

This year’s guiding theme of the forum was “The Internet of Bodies”, thus focusing on the ever more inevitable connectedness and linkage of mankind to technology, and the increased sharing of personal data within the context of digital life.

For three days in a row our expert attorneys Liliya Hadzhiyska and Rumyana Yordanova, led by the head of the PDP team Nikolay Cvetanov, attorney-at-law, debated and exchanged experience with experts from various European, Asian and American governmental institutions and regulatory bodies, legal offices, as well as representatives of leading companies related to providing electronic and online services.

Our colleagues discussed and gained expert knowledge and know-how on the most pressing current issues raised by GDPR, which we may now transfer into our practices for protecting our clients’ interests when implementing all of the obligations for data protection.
