AmCham Bulgaria’s Delegation at the Annual AmChams in Europe U.S. Conference

AmCham Bulgaria’s Executive Director Petar T. Ivanov and the Policy and Legislative Advisor Nadya Lazarova took part in the annual AmChams in Europe

USA Conference held in Washington, D.C. from 16-18 April 2018.

The AmChams in Europe network delegation attended the Transatlantic Business Works Summit organized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Business Europe. The conference gathered senior executives from U.S. and European companies to share insights on opportunities for transatlantic collaboration on infrastructure modernization, energy security/sustainability, digitization and regulatory convergence.  Among the keynote speakers were EU Ambassador to the U.S. H.E. David O’Sullivan, Myron Brilliant, Executive Vice President and Head of International Affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, representatives of GE, Google, IBM, Microsoft, Nokia, Solvay and UPS.

The delegation attended a number of briefings at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce including with Chamber’s CEO Tom Donahue and meetings with high-level administration officials at the U.S. Department of Commerce and representatives of CBS Corporation, the Obama Foundation and the Pew Research Center.
