Ready for Success Scholarship Program celebrated the end of the school year with donors and scholars in an emotional event. The celebration was organized by BCause Foundation and Orphan Foundation – both organizations that have established the program 12 years ago.
In 2018 the individual and corporate donors and supporters are: A1, Acta Verba, AmCham Bulgaria, AmGen, Aurubis Bulgaria, BHTC, Bulstrad Viena Insurance Group Life, Bulgarian-American Society, Bright Marketing Research, Vega Medical, Global Group, GVC Services, Intracom, Isobar, Citi, UBB, PaySafe Bulgaria, PPD, Sopharma, TELUS International, Telenor Bulgaria, Telelink, Paribas Foundation, Unit Cargo, as well as Ms. Elena Stefanova who was scholar couple of years ago, and now is among the donors of the program.
Some numbers
- 89 university students and 22 high-school graduates are scholars in 2018 edition
- Among them are 15 future medical doctors, 8 teachers, lawyers, engineers
- 47 are the consecutive schollars, and 64 get the scholarship for a first time.
- The total amount of the scholarships for 2017/2018 is BGN 204,000.
For 12 years are granted 1,250 scholarship of the total value of near BGN 2,000,000.
AmCham Bulgaria supports the project over 10 years now with 100 scholarships.

On behalf of the scholars spoke Ms. Gergana Tsvetanova, now part of the team of Concentrix.

Music and Joy
The entertainment program of the celebration included live performances by Georgi Chapanov who plays the guitar and signs. He sang two songs – Michael Buble’s “Feeling Good”, and Depeche Mode’s “Personal Jesus”. Second on the stage came Itso Lyubenov who performed two songs – “Nestinarka” and “Notre Dam De Paris”. Both are graduates of the National Musical Academy and have started their professional career.
The real fun begun when Plamen Paliev from Drum Shot Team Building Project (Event House Bulgaria) gave different drums and cymbals to everyone in the audience, and made them follow a common rhythm.
