The third annual conference of Bloomberg TV Bulgaria will analyze the most significant changes in local and global markets and businesses.
Europe’s most experienced futurist Ray Hammond will visit Bulgaria in order to participate in the third edition of the conference THE NEXT BIG THING, which is being organized by Bloomberg TV Bulgaria. The event will be held on the 16th October at Capital Fort (Sofia), starting at 09:00 am, and will outline the most important economic, technological and scientific events of the year.
The renowned futurist, journalist and book author Ray Hammond will be the keynote speaker at THE NEXT BIG THING 2018. At the conference, he will talk about the drivers of change that will shape the business environment in the future. Hammond will also address issues such as the digital revolution, population growth, nanotechnology and DNA analyzes in medicine, climate change, automation, globalization and world poverty.
At the conference, Hammond will also share his advice on how the businesses can prepare themselves for the future. The digital revolution will have more impact on everything we do, and every business needs to have a more in-depth look at digitalization.
“Don’t gamble on the future – take some expert advice. The best way to prepare for the future is to know what’s coming”, Hammond said a few days before his arrival in Sofia.
For over 35 years Hammond has been writing and speaking about the trends that will shape the future. His long record of accurate foresight is unique in Europe and he is now living in the future he first described 30 years ago. He is the author of 14 books about the future. In 2010 former President Mikhail Gobachev presented Ray with a U.N. Gold Medal for Services to Futurology.
THE NEXT BIG THING is targeted at representatives of international companies and opinion leaders from all industries, including clusters, non-governmental organizations, and small and medium-sized enterprises.
