Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Cinnamon won the award “Product of the Year” for 2019 in the soft drinks category. The prestigious international innovation awards “Product of the Year” in the consumer sector were given at a special ceremony.
Dozens of new and innovative products and services launched on the Bulgarian market in the last 18 months participated in the third edition of this competition. They were divided into 25 categories. There is only one winner in each individual category and it is determined by an independent consumer vote.
“Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Cinnamon is another innovation in response to the demand for new tastes and our customers’ drive for a more balanced diet. This constitutes a part of the global strategy of Coca-Cola to expand its portfolio of low-calorie drinks. The award “Product of the Year” is proof that we are going in the right direction and inspires us to continue to create new and exciting Coca-Cola flavours with less or no calories at all”, said Svetlana Dimitrova, Carbonated Drinks Senior Brand Manager at Coca-Cola Bulgaria, who received the award along with Anton Todorov – Head of Strategic Brand Management at Coca-Cola Hellenic Bulgaria.
The global competition “Product of the Year” is held annually in over 40 countries with the same goal: to guide consumers to the latest market offerings and to distinguish manufacturers for the quality and innovations made in their products. Winners in each category are chosen by consumers participated in an independent national representative survey realised by an authoritative research agency.
For Bulgaria this survey was conducted by Nielsen Bulgaria among 2,500 respondents following the unique methodology of the program.
