Today at the 2019 Summit of the Three Seas Initiative in Ljubljana, 11 presidents of the AmChams have signed their support for the better infrastructure, diversified and secure energy sources and growth of the digital realm. The joint goal of the Initiative is to build a more integrated, prosperous and secure region within a growing Single Market.
The Three Seas Initiative includes the countries located between the Adriatic, the Baltic and the Black Seas: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
American Chambers of these countries stand ready to provide facilitation to clearly define the roles of the key stakeholders, provide the know-how and bring together business, governments and the capital, to fully deliver such cross-border projects in the fields of technology, trade, transport, energy, digital market and cyber-security.
“AmCham Bulgaria joins our chamber colleagues across Central and South Eastern Europe to foster and strengthen the economic and social cooperation within this region. There are various mechanisms and tools which, properly implemented, and accompanied with political will, shall benefit the countries, their people and businesses. This declaration is a perfect example of shared values and excellent coordination of priorities of those AmChams from the region, including Bulgaria,” commented Olivier Marquette, AmCham Bulgaria President.
