Telenor was awarded with first prize in the category “Telecommunications” int this year’s “The Greenest Companies in Bulgaria” contest organized by b2b Media. The competition was held for the ninth consecutive year distinguishing companies that are consistent in their environmental policies.
Through its long-term sustainable environmental strategy, the telecom strives to continuously reduce its ecological footprint. The company is following a variety of eco-friendly initiatives that, in addition to taking care of nature and natural resources, are raising the awareness and the environmental culture of its employees.
Evidence of the positive results following the efforts of all Telenor employees is the Environmental Management System, certified every year according to the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001:2015. It ensures effectiveness in measuring, controlling and continually reducing the environmental impact of all aspects of the company’s activities. The performance of the Environmental Management System is also visible in our annual Sustainability Reports.
The Sustainability Report for 2018 will be published by the end of June.
