Cargill in Bulgaria Rewarded in Two Categories at the b2b Media Annual Awards

Cargill in Bulgaria received two honors at the b2b Media Annual Awards: the “Business Leader of the Year” award for Metodi Georgiev, head of Cargill in Bulgaria, and the “Innovative Idea” award for Cargill’s collaboration with St. Kliment Ohridski University in Sofia University for the campaign “Your Future Is Here. Success in Bulgaria”.

Metodi Georgiev received the personal award for ‘Business Leader of the Year’ for his outstanding leadership skills and results he has driven for Cargill’s activities in Bulgaria.

“The recognition received with this prestigious award is a testament to the whole team’s ability to bring in great people and keep them working for Cargill. The campaign “Your Future is Here. Success in Bulgaria” received the award for most “Innovative Idea”. The objective of the campaign was to raise awareness amongst young Bulgarians about the educational and professional opportunities in Bulgaria, more specifically through the university’s collaboration with companies such as Cargill. Associate Professor Dr. Teodor Sedlarski, Dean of the Economics Faculty at the St Kliment Ohridski, commented “Cargill in Bulgaria is the main engine behind our campaign and the first company to actively support it. Thanks to our collaboration, we were able to showcase the opportunities that are available for our Bulgarian youth right here in Bulgaria”.
