Music From America

On September 5th, 2019 from 7pm in the Royal Palace of Vrana, State Opera- Rousse will present the concert of Rousse Philharmonic – “MUSIC FROM AMERICA”.

Soloist – Dancho Radevski

Concertmaster – Anna Furnadzhieva

The program contains two of the most colorful works from the creativity of George Gershwin – “The Cuban Overture” and the symphonic poem “An American in Paris”. 

The program also includes the virtuoso Concert for clarinet, string orchestra, harp and piano by American composer Aaron Copland.

The compositions of the Mexican composer Arturo Markes – “Danson No 2” and “Conga of the new fire” (Conga del fuego nuevo” ) with the rhythms of the Afro – Cuban Conga  and the passion of the Caribbean music, which complements the rich music picture of the program  – “Music from America”.

Mark Cadin was born in Ukraine into a family with musical traditions. He has toured in Europe, Asia and South America. He is currently Chief Conductor of the Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra.

Dancho Radevski is a longtime soloist- clarinetist of the Symphony Orchestra of the Bulgarian National Radio . He has  toured in Europe, America and Asia. He has participated in national and international projects with different chamber formations performing classical and contemporary music.
