The spread of COVID-19 remains a major challenge with many infected persons and many healthcare professionals and workers exposed at daily risk. In the light of the global COVID-19 pandemic, Bayer is supporting number of governments in treatment efforts and to help ease the pressure on overwhelmed health systems with its products, technical equipment, monetary donations, know-how and the engagement of its employees.

In Bulgaria, Bayer donates BGN 48,900 to the Ministry of Health to support the hospital treatment of citizens with COVID-19 on the territory of the country.
