Joint Survey “Rule of Law and Business in Bulgaria”

Dear members,

Following the Joint Board Meeting between the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria and the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GBCIC) on February 18th, 2020 we would like to invite you to take part at the joint survey “Rule of Law and Business in Bulgaria”.

Its main goal is to provide an up-to-date picture of the sense of the rule of law and the fight against corruption in Bulgaria among the member companies of both chambers, as well as some possible ways of communication and cooperation between business and government.

Please fill the survey until July 31th 2020. You will need 3 to 5 minutes to answer it. Your data will be treated confidentially. The results will be announced and published shortly.

As you probably remember, on February 18th, 2020, both Management Boards discussed the promotion of a positive investment climate and better implementation of the rule of law on sustainable business development, the promotion of foreign direct investment, improvements in employment policies and increasing labor market flexibility. The meeting was attended by H.E. Herro Mustafa, U.S. Ambassador to Bulgaria and H.E. Christoph Eichhorn, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bulgaria.

The joint meeting was a clear sign that the representatives of two of the most influential business organizations in Bulgaria have long-term plans for sustainable investments and development of the local economy, as well as human capital.

Germany and the United States are among Bulgaria’s most important trade partners. The participants in the meeting were unanimous that with the joint efforts, knowledge and vision of the Bulgarian government, together with the trade services of the two countries, as well as with the participation of the chambers of commerce, they would jointly contribute to further economic growth and prosperity of the Bulgarians. These efforts go through the consistent establishment of the rule of law and the joint fight against corruption. The voices of the representatives of the two largest bilateral chambers of commerce in Bulgaria will be heard better if we are united in our messages.

Thank you for your support.
