Global tech company IBM appointed Georgi Ganev as its new country leader for Bulgaria. In his new role, Ganev will be responsible for all client facing activities of IBM in Bulgaria, covering IBM’s entire portfolio of products and services, the company said in a statement.
Ganev will support the local community and the local business ecosystem of IBM clients and business partners on their digital transformation journey and innovation development by capitalizing on disruptive technologies including artificial intelligence, cloud, blockchain and security.
He succeeds Igor Pravica, who has been appointed regional sales leader for IBM Central and Eastern Europe.
Prior to this new role, Ganev held a number of positions in sales, business consulting services and finance in IBM Bulgaria.
