Devin JSC has donated nearly 24 tons of spring water to the Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC). The quantities are intended for drinking water needs of the people in more than 50 settlements along the Maritsa River, as water supply in them has been suspended over pollution.
“In times like this, there are companies who stand out with their readiness for support and with the ability to respond promptly to such challenges. Let me thank Devin, who have again responded swiftly to the call for help of the country’s citizens. Since the beginning of the year, the company has donated over 130 tons of clean, natural water to the people – first to the residents of Pernik during the water rationing regime, and later for the needs of hospitals across the country in dealing with the effects of the pandemic”, said BRC President Hristo Grigorov.
Devin JSC has a long history of support for the Bulgarian Red Cross and has helped hundreds of thousands of people in need, including during the floods and disasters in Northwestern, Northeastern and Southern Bulgaria in 2017 and 2018, the floods in the Republic of Macedonia in 2016, and in other campaigns of the humanitarian organization.
