After a month ago United Bulgarian Bank (UBB) announced that via the UBB Mobile app client onboarding could happen within 15 minutes, without visiting a branch of the Bank, today the company has presented new convenient features of its mobile banking.
“Transactions’ Filter“ is the first new functionality, enabling users to sort their transactions per accounts, as well as export their account and card movements in PDF format. It is available to users after selecting an account from Products->Accounts->Movements menu. The following filters will be available there: amount; date (it is possible to select a past period not earlier than 1 year); incoming/ outgoing transaction; as well as transaction types (for example fund transfers between own accounts; fund transfers in Bulgarian leva; foreign currency; fund transfers to the State Budget; credit card limit repayment; utility bill payment). By selecting the “Apply Filter” button, a new filter will open for the user with the transactions, sorted out by him/her. In that same screen there is an option for exporting the sorted transactions into a separate PDF file, by selecting the icon in the upper right corner.
Clients also have at their disposal the “Currency Conversion“ functionality. It enables the obtaining of exchange rate information, fund transfer fee and total amount upon effecting of fund transfers involving currency conversion. This functionality is available for the following fund transfer types with currency conversion: fund transfer between own accounts; interbank fund transfer in foreign currency; fund transfer in foreign currency within UBB.
Additionally, UBB Mobile now provides an option to select “Future Value Date Payments“. This functionality enables individuals and business clients to effect future value date payments for the following fund transfer types: fund transfers between own accounts (only for accounts in BGN); BGN fund transfers; fund transfer to the State Budget; foreign currency fund transfer within UBB; credit card limit repayment. By selecting the „Future Value Date“ field a calendar will open in the screen, allowing the user to choose the desired date, which may be maximum 30 days going forward. This field is not mandatory and should the client wish the fund transfer to be ordered immediately, the field has to remain blank. The calendar enables users to select both business, as well as non-business days, however upon choosing a non-business day, depending on the fund transfer, the latter will be effected on either the last business day preceding the selected date, or on the first one succeeding it.
To make it easier for mobile app users there is also a new button embedded: “What’s new in UBB Mobile“. Through this functionality you can easily track in one place the changes in the app’s recent version. It is being visualized only once upon a successful activation and update of the app’s recent version. The “What’s new in UBB Mobile“ initial screen shows users how to navigate the app, while the next several screens contain information about the newly introduced functionalities. After selecting a final screen with the “Go to App“ button, the client is being re-directed to the UBB Mobile login screen via a user name and a password.
All already known and familiar features of UBB Mobile remain the app’s key advantages. Among those are the opportunity to apply for a consumer loan up to BGN 35,000 fully online; online payments in Bulgarian leva and foreign currencies with a fingerprint for enhanced security (or face recognition) between own accounts, to third persons/entities, to the State Budget; monitoring of account balances and movements, filtering based on own criteria; applying for a debit and credit card; deposit opening; blocking and activating cards in real time; deferral of credit card purchases into 3, 6, 9 and 12 installments; registration and free-of-charge payment of utility bills; pre-approved consumer loan mOBBi as a standing offer available in case of need; conclusion of a Travel Abroad Insurance policy.
