Petar T. Ivanov with a Lecture at UNWE on Corporate and Business Diplomacy

On November 6th, 2020 Petar T. Ivanov, CEO, American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, gave a lecture before students from the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) on the topic Corporate and Business Diplomacy of AmCham Bulgaria. It was upon invitation from Dr. Plamen Ralchev, Associate Professor and Head of Department of International Relations, UNWE.

The lecturer opened his presentation with brief representing of the history and structure of AmCham Bulgaria and the main goals and successes of the Chamber. Petar Ivanov summarized also the main activities that the chamber does and which it should avoid in order to be well developed and stable, as well as to work for the sake of interest of its members and the national economy and prosperity.

Petar focused on two fundamental instruments – Institutional dialogue and Business diplomacy and he explained why it is important to plan them and how to use them in the service of the business goals. To help the students to understand better he used some of the highlights of the recent activities of AmCham Bulgaria.

At the end he answered a lot of questions from students related to details about the chamber’s structure and positioning, strategic processes for Bulgaria such as diversification, etc.
