Public Hearing of the Nominated Candidates for AmCham Bulgaria Board of Directors 2021

The Public Hearing of the nominated candidates was held on February 11, 2021 (Thursday).

Moderator of the Hearings was Daniel Kiryakov, Communication and Public Affairs Manager, AmCham Bulgaria. The event was opened by Olivier Marquette, AmCham President with welcoming remarks. Special address was given by Justin Friedman, Deputy Chief of Mission, U.S. Embassy in Bulgaria.

The nominees gave their passionate speeches to outline their main motives to be part of the AmCham board. The candidates presented themselves in alphabetical order in 10-minute speeches:

Georgi Ganev, IBM Bulgaria

Ivan Mihaylov, Visteon Electronics

Omourtag Petkov, Djingov, Gouginski, Kyutchukov, & Velichkov

Ruslana Toncheva, Janssen, Johnson & Johnson

Simeon Stoychev, Progress Software EAD

Tony McMurray, Ingram Micro GBS EOOD

Now that voting for the nominees for the AmCham Board of Directors has started, we encourage you to take action and cast your vote for the candidates you believe are most worthy of being the next AmCham leaders.

The deadline for voting is February 28, 2021. 

To vote, fill in, sign and put a date on the Signed Written Statement and send the original, together with the PoA, if any, to the AmCham office: 1000 Sofia, 1 Kuzman Shapkarev Str., Fl. 3, by February 28, 2021.
