Donation to the St. St. Cyril and Methodius high school honors the Day of the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian alphabet, education and culture and of Slavic literature.
In recognition of the day of the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian alphabet, education and culture and of Slavic literature on May 24, Acronis donated 100 books to the St. St. Cyril and Methodius high school in Velingrad. This donation is intended for educational purposes, and will benefit more than 760 students.
“Education is the most important part of student life,” said Ani Vasileva, Director at St. St. Cyril and Methodius. “It gives them a great opportunity to develop their skills and possibilities in the right direction to achieve their aims, dreams, and ambitions.”
Acronis sees the world’s woes as largely being the result of insufficient knowledge. Among the authors whose works will be included in this donation are Jerald Daral, Rick Riordan, Ivan Vazov, Ekzuperi, Viktor Paskov, Jordan Radichkov, Georgi Gospodinov, Mike Horn, Boiko Rangelov, and J.K. Rowling.

St. St. Cyril and Methodius is a school with 130 years of history and a lot of traditions. The school’s mission is to help students succeed, develop, earn, learn, and grow. Desislava Dimitrova, an IT and informatics teacher at St. St. Cyril and Methodius, recently won an award in the Bulgarian Association of Information Technologies’ “Digital innovators in education” contest. She had impressed the judges with her dedication, professional attitude, responsiveness, and quality of support for students, parents, and colleagues.
