The exquisite restaurant Come Prima, located in Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko, once again surprises with a memorable gourmet experience for food lovers, ready to embark on an adventure and feel a real explosion of flavors. Visitors of the awarded for Best Hotel Restaurant in Bulgaria for 2020 will have the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful seven-course menu prepared by chef Nikola Todorov, who has worked in many Kempinski hotels around the world and learned from the exceptional Chef Remi Giro in one of the most iconic restaurants with 2 Michelin stars – Les Hauts de Loire.
The degustation experience is inspired by the upcoming summer days and combines high-quality local and seasonal products. There is no better way to start a special dinner than with beef tartare, black caviar from Bulgarian aquaculture and black truffle from Stara Planina. Shrimp carpaccio takes us to more southern latitudes, due to the combination with passion fruit and the well-chosen spiciness of the red-hot pepper. The risotto is accompanied by the salinity of well-ripened pecorino cheese, as well as the sweetness of the langoustines and zucchini, complemented by green pistachios. The sole fillet has an extremely delicate taste, and in combination with basil, tomatoes and crab you get a great balanced Mediterranean dish. The main course features quail and goose liver, which are elegantly combined with sweet potatoes, oranges and almond foam. What a fresher end to the evening than a dessert with strawberries, marinated with mint, buffalo yogurt ice cream and honey. Each dish is perfectly accompanied with a corresponding premium wine or champagne for a more complete taste. It is very important to note that the whole menu is focused on the concept of using all parts of the products in different forms during the preparation of the food. The team intends to change the offers every two months to make them even more attractive to visitors.
