The office market was characterized by high activity during the first six months of the year. Total take-up was 70,330 sqm, 6% higher compared to the first half of 2019. The main sectors driving demand were: IT and outsourcing (73%), professional services (11%) and retail (8%).
In the surveyed period, 39% of all deals were due to relocations, 37% to contract renewals, 10% to pre-leases, another 10% to expansion of already established companies and 4% to new entries on the market.
Average asking rental levels remained stable, namely for class A offices were EUR 14 per sqm – CBD, 12.5 euro per sqm – Broad center, and 12 euro per sqm – for Suburbs.
