AUBG’s Civic Medal of Honor Program for High-Schools

Dear Members,

The American University in Bulgaria, a leader in Liberal Arts education in Eastern Europe and a fully accredited institution of higher learning in both the United States and Bulgaria, has the honor of inviting high schools to join our Civic Medal of Honor Program.

AUBG’s Civic Medal of Honor is awarded to deserving high school juniors and seniors who have demonstrated exceptional accomplishments in leadership, academic pursuits and civic engagement within their own community or around the world.

Partner schools of this honorable program can nominate one senior, graduating in 2022, and one junior, graduating 2023, whose exceptional leadership qualities, academic merit, social engagement and civic activism deserve high recognition. The nominees will have the chance to become a part of a global network of exceptional young people who will inspire and shape a better future for our societies.

Following nomination and successful admission to the American University in Bulgaria, each AUBG Civic Medal recipient will receive $20,000 in merit scholarship for the full course of study at the university.

This medal aims to recognize young people who best exemplify the courage and will to stand for the civic freedoms of citizens around the world. It would be a privilege for us to partner with high schools in our mutual efforts in enabling bright minds to become the game-changers of tomorrow.

Our team would be delighted to share further details about the process after receiving school’s confirmation of interest in joining the AUBG Civic Medal of Honor Program.

Thank you,

Dr. David R. Evans
