Bulgarian Donors Forum Announces the TOP Corporate Donor Annual Competition

Daniel Kiryakov, Communications and Public Affairs Manager at AmCham Bulgaria will be a part of the expert jury of the TOP Corporate Donor Awards.

It distinguishes companies investing in significant causes, promotes good practices in corporate philanthropy and establishes high standards of corporate social responsibility in Bulgaria.

Categories of the TOP Corporate Donor Award:

Best Corporate Philanthropy Program 2020: it distinguishes the efforts of companies that have single-heartedly, consciously and systematically invested to support public benefit causes;

Best Corporate Volunteering Program 2020: it distinguishes the efforts of the companies that give their employees various opportunities to contribute to a significant cause through volunteer work;

Most Successful Partnership 2020: it distinguishes the partnerships between companies and nongovernmental organizations that have greatly contributed to the solution of an existing issue;

Most Generous Donor 2020: this year, three prizes in three subcategories will be awarded for the first time ever, depending on the annual turnover of the company-applicant for 2020:

  • Micro and small enterprises (with 2020 annual turnover of up to BGN 19 500 000),
  • Medium-sized enterprises (with 2020 annual turnover of up to BGN 97 500 000),
  • Large enterprises (with 2020 annual turnover exceeding BGN 97 500 000)

Most Generous Donor:  In-kind Donations 2020 (goods, materials, services): The prize is awarded to the company that has made in-kind and other non-financial donations of highest value;

Employee’s Volunteering Contribution 2020: the prize is awarded to the company whose employees have spent most hours for volunteer work in 2020.

The applications by an expert jury with the following members: Gabriela Marinova (Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum), Georgi Simeonov (Deloitte Bulgaria), Genoveva Petrova (Alpha Research), Darina Georgieva (United Nations Global Compact), Desislava Talyokova (America for Bulgaria Foundation), Maxim Mayer (BGlobal Media), Svetla Kostadinova (Institute for Market Economics), and Daniel Kiryakov (AmCham Bulgaria).

Quantitative categories in the competition are verified by Deloitte Bulgaria.
