Progress Stands in Solidarity with the Rainbow Hub, LGBTQ+ Community

The leading technology company, Progress, announced that it will donate $3,000 to the LGBTQ+ community center in Sofia, Bulgaria, Rainbow Hub, which was subject to a hate-fueled attack on Oct. 30, 2021.

The funds will be used for the rebuilding efforts of the space. In addition, Plus, the LGBTQ+ employee resource group (ERG) at Progress, will offer internal volunteer opportunities to aid the renovation of the community center.

The LGBTQ+ community and its allies are represented at Progress аround the world. The Plus ERG aims to build bridges across the company to connect and represent the voices and stories of the LGBTQ+ Progressers. Plus also raises awareness about the social issues that affect the community externally, such as the case with the Rainbow Hub.

Progress seeks ways to foster an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated, and everyone feels appreciated and able to bring their authentic self to work. Whether that diversity comes in the form of race, gender, gender identity, sexual preference or identity, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, socioeconomic standing, or any other status, Progress supports equality and human rights for all.
