Corporate Donors Awards 2021

Bulgarian Donor’s Forum’s Corporate Donor Awards ceremony, now in its 16th year, took place on December 7, 2021, awarding the most socially responsible companies in the country. There were five categories this year, which were subdivided into groups based on the quality of the programs supporting important social causes and on the value of the cash and in-kind investments made.

The focus of this year’s ceremony traditionally hosted by the President’s Office were the united efforts of the donors in 2020 to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and the social and health issues arising from it.

President Rumen Radev welcomed all the nominees to the gala, saying he believed philanthropy was the important tool that would enable us all to change the public environment and make a better future for Bulgaria together. He presented the Important Contributor to Philanthropy in Bulgaria award to Stanimir Karolev, who had started a foundation supporting young Bulgarian scholars.
