The award is presented for the eighth consecutive year by the BCause Foundation, the Bulgarian Association for People Management (BAPM), the Bulgarian Public Relations Association (BDVO) and the Bulgarian Association of CSR Specialists (BAKSOS).
Bulgarian companies and their employees have gone through many trials in the last two years – for some, it was an opportunity to rethink and improve their employee engagement policies, including charity initiatives, encouraged or organized by the employer. While some offices are still empty, people have found new ways to be together: like helping those, who can’t stay at home, because they work on the front line for a variety of health, education, social and environmental causes.
The jury of the Annual Quality Mark for Workplace Giving this year consists of:
- Elitsa Barakova, Executive Director of BCause Foundation
- Polina Gospodinova-Georgieva, Executive Director of the Bulgarian Association for People Management
- Anita Bedin, President of the Bulgarian Public Relations Association
- Marina Stefanova, PhD, Chairperson of the Board of the Bulgarian Association of CSR Specialists
The award has four levels of distinction: a badge of honor, bronze, silver and gold.
The participating companies are scored based on the ratio between the people engaged vs the total number of employees; the mechanisms used by the company to promote regular or recurring donations and the opportunities it provides for volunteering from the workplace. Companies fill in a short information form and participate in a video interview with the jury.
The deadline for filling in and sending the information questionnaires is February 24, 2022.
