Residential Market Overview H1 2022

In the first half of 2022, the supply of mid-plus and high-end residential market saw a 4% growth, leading the number of residential units to 13,270. Larger part of the new supply was realized in the first quarter of the year, while the dynamics in the second one was subdued by the war in Ukraine and the disrupted supply chain of building materials.

The highest sales volume was recorded for 3-bedroom apartments, followed by 2- bedroom apartments and houses. Existing demand was predominantly focused on owner-occupation (75% of all transactions) versus investment. Mid-plus and high-end residential market dynamics was defined by the desire to move into a larger home.
