AmCham Bulgaria is proud to announce this year’s nominees for the AmChampion Awards. Nine companies in three categories were selected based on their performance and contribution to the success of the Chamber and the improvement of the business climate in Bulgaria. The Board of Directors will also acknowledge Project of the Year.
The winners will be announced on October 6th, at the AmChampions Gala Dinner. This year’s special event is part of the program of the AmChams in Europe Best Practice Conference 2022. AmCham Bulgaria hosts this esteemed forum in Sofia and will welcome 40 representatives of 30 AmChams across Europe and Eurasia. At the Gala will be present H.E. Herro Mustafa, U.S. Ambassador to Bulgaria, Susan Danger, Chairperson of the AmChams in Europe, Ajsa Vodnik, VP of AmChams in Europe and Secretariat Lead, Olivier Marquette, AmCham Bulgaria President.
“Having this awarding ceremony for a second year in-a-row gives tremendous visibility to the most engaged members. More importantly, we – as a community – give our thanks to those companies, whose leaders and experts dedicated time, knowledge, funds, and insight to jointly succeed. The bottom line here is that the more active members we have within our committees, projects, advocacy, the better for our community and for the investment environment of Bulgaria,” – outlined Olivier Marquette, AmCham Bulgaria President.

SME Category Nominees
In the SME Category the Chamber has 137 members. The nominees in alphabetical order are Djingov, Guginski, Kyuchukov and Velichkov Law Firm, HR Consulting Partners, and JobTiger.
Corporate Category Nominees
In the Corporate Category the Chamber has 68 members. The nominees here in alphabetical order are America for Bulgaria Foundation, Manpower Bulgaria, and Penkov, Markov & Partners.
Large Corporate Category Nominees
In the Large Corporate Category plus the Patron Members, the Chamber has 117 members. The nominees in alphabetical order are AES Bulgaria, ContourGlobal Maritsa East 3, Johnson & Johnson Bulgaria.
About The AmChampion Awards
The idea was rooted back in 2019 when the Chamber introduced its upgraded benefits for its members.
The goals of the awards include recognition of the most active and engaged members for the past year. Also, being a community award and gathering – it focuses attention on those that contributed the most to the initiatives of the Chamber. The awards, as per criteria and proven data, express gratitude to all.
