Philip Morris Bulgaria is a top employer in Bulgaria for the seventh year running

Philip Morris International received yet another great recognition. For a seventh consecutive year, the company has been certified as a Global Top Employer both in Bulgaria, and at European and global level.

In Bulgaria the company is one of the thirteen employers awarded with the prestigious prize for good practices in human resource management. Bulgaria is one of the 33 countries where Philip Morris International received this great recognition following an independent audit by the Top Employers Institute. The Top Employer certificate is issued following a strict assessment of the company practices in several areas, including employees’ compensations and benefits, working conditions, training and career development. To be certified Philip Morris Bulgaria demonstrated its excellence in different human capital dimensions to independent HR auditors. The Тор Еmрlоуеrs Іnѕtіtutе has commended the business strategy of the company, its organization and transformation, talent acquisition and on-boarding, ethics and integrity, sustainability and leadership, and other key factors.

In Bulgaria the company has more than 130 highly qualified employees who share the smoke-free values and vision of the organization. As a reflection of the sustainability and inclusion culture 72% of the management positions locally are held by women. The pace of organizational development matches the pace of the company’s team development. To this purpose Philip Morris Bulgaria has invested more than BGN 500 000 and more than 1 649 hours for employee training. With employees’ safety and security in mind the company introduced the so called “smart work” hybrid model which gives the employees the option to choose a combination of remote and office-based work.
