On March 30, 2023, AmCham Bulgaria Human Capital and Education Committee discussed the complex topic of the new skills and the need of re-skilling of the workforce to meet the requirements of the Green Transformation.
There were three main presentations that aimed to address some of the issues and to present a pathway for individual’s and companies’ adaptation towards the green transition requirements. In a nutshell they are:
- Future skillset and expertise that will be required as a result of the Green Deal.
- What are the “Green Skills” we need to start developing?
- How businesses can partner with the Faculty of Business Administration, Sofia University in developing educational/certificate programs for re-skilling and up-skilling of the workforce.
- How businesses can use EU funding opportunities to sponsor Green Skills development
