Japanese Employers Will Visit Bulgaria for the First Time in Search of Local Talents

The first edition of the Bulgarian-Japanese Tech Job Fair & Forum is part of the Career Days: IT, Communications and Outsourcing 2023 program

A good career is the basis for securing a good future. That’s why for more than 20 years JobTiger has been striving to add value for businesses and job seekers. During Career Days: IT, Communications & Outsourcing 2023 there will be a special corner of the Japanese economy: The Bulgarian-Japanese Tech Job Fair & Forum. Nearly 15 Japanese companies will be present on 14 October in Sofia in search for IT talents. Most of the companies in this corner are employers that have no representation in Bulgaria and are not present on the Bulgarian labor market. The Innovative Corner of the Japanese Economy is organized in cooperation with Mynavi Corporation and the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). We are proud that the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan has placed its trust in JobTiger for its experience and tradition in conducting career events with proven impact.

All companies that are part of the Career Days: IT, Communications and Outsourcing will be presenting to the audience in the Sofia Grand Hall of the Marinella Hotel in Sofia. Parallel to the meetings between employers and job seekers, a conference will be held in the adjacent Kyoto Hall, during which there will be short presentations by the Japanese participants. In this way, visitors will be able to learn about the companies, their core business, company culture, and values. The conference part will also continue with discussions on topics such as “Characteristics of Japanese work culture” and “How to start working for a Japanese company?”. The panelists will be people from business and education who will share their experiences on the topics and give first-person accounts of their impressions of working with Japanese people. The working language of the conference part will be English.

To conclude the conference, a 15-minute programming competition will be held. The winner will win a prize from JobTiger – a round-trip ticket to Japan, and those interested in participating should register here!

This year’s edition of the specialist Career Days: IT, Communications & Outsourcing will welcome 100 top exhibiting companies looking for their new employees and will expect nearly 2,500 visitors ready to introduce themselves to their prospective employers. Once again, the event will be held live in four academic cities – Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, and Gabrovo, as well as virtually on a dedicated platform.
Following the huge success of the Saturday careers events in the spring, three of the events, namely in Sofia, Plovdiv, and Varna, will take place on Saturday. This is a new step that JobTiger is taking to help job seekers and new career opportunities, and this time all professionals with work experience who are willing can look for a new career future for themselves. The event is a bridge between business and education and professionals with little experience and even those with no experience are welcome. Exhibiting companies have a lot to offer visitors from different groups.

The event is organized by the comprehensive HR services company JobTiger.

Bronze sponsors of the event: Strypes, Siemens, interop.io
