The Bulgarian Donors Forum Seeks Top Corporate Donors for 2023

AmCham Bulgaria will be a part of the expert jury of the TOP Corporate Donor Awards of the Bulgarian Donors’ Forum. It recognizes companies that invest in important public causes, promotes best practices in corporate philanthropy, and sets high standards for corporate social responsibility in Bulgaria.

Companies and NGOs can apply online by October 31, 2023.

Categories of the TOP Corporate Donor Awards:

Best Corporate Giving Program 2022: it recognizes the efforts of companies that have intentionally, consciously, and systematically supported public benefit causes.

Best Corporate Volunteering Program 2022: it recognizes the efforts of companies that encourage their employees and offer various opportunities to contribute to a meaningful cause through volunteering.

Most Successful Partnership 2022: it recognizes partnerships between companies and nonprofits that have made a significant contribution to solving an existing problem and to achieving a sustainable impact.

Most Generous Corporate Donor 2022 three prizes in three subcategories will be awarded, depending on the annual turnover of the applicant for 2022:

  • Micro and small enterprises (with 2022 annual turnover of up to BGN 19 500 000),
  • Medium-sized enterprises (with 2022 annual turnover of up to BGN 97 500 000),
  • Large enterprises (with 2022 annual turnover exceeding BGN 97 500 000).

Most Generous Corporate Donor:  In-kind Donations 2022 (goods, materials, services): The award is given to the company that has provided the most valuable in-kind and other non-financial contributions.

Employee’s Volunteering Contribution 2022: The award will be presented to the company whose employees volunteered the most hours in 2022.

The applications will be reviewed by a panel of experts consisting of the following members: Gabriela Marinova (Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum), Georgi Simeonov (Deloitte Bulgaria), Genoveva Petrova (Alpha Research), Darina Georgieva (United Nations Global Compact), Desislava Talyokova (America for Bulgaria Foundation), Maxim Mayer (BGlobal Media), Svetla Kostadinova (Institute for Market Economics), and Daniel Kiryakov (AmCham Bulgaria).

The data in the applications in the quantitative categories of the competition will be verified by Deloitte Bulgaria.
