Siemens with Corporate Longevity Award at the Mr. and Mrs. Economics Competition

A special award for corporate longevity was awarded to Siemens Bulgaria during the Mr. and Mrs. Economics competition, organized by KRIB and Economy magazine.

The award was presented to Dr. Eng. Boryana Manolova, CEO of Siemens for Bulgaria, North Macedonia, and Ukraine, by Petar Chobanov, Deputy Governor of the BNB, during a glamorous ceremony in Sofia Tech Park.

“It is a great honor and pleasure for me to accept this award on behalf of Siemens Bulgaria. In 2023, we are celebrating the 145th anniversary of Siemens entering our country. Few companies can boast of such corporate longevity,” emphasized Dr. Eng. Manolova in her speech to those present.

For 33 years now, the Mr. and Mrs. Economics competition has honored Bulgarian entrepreneurs, managers, economists, and financiers who have contributed to the high success and development of the Bulgarian economy.

This is the third award for Siemens from the prestigious competition. In 2014, Dr. Eng. Boryana Manolova was elected as Mrs. Economy, and in 2018, the company won the award in the category ICT, Outsourcing and Business Processes.
