Eight Campaigns for March 8 – BCause Foundation Competition

For the 6th consecutive year, we from BCause Foundation support organizations that work with women and children victims of domestic violence and provide social and psychological support.

Organizing donation campaigns is a great way to achieve several goals together:

  • To once again speak loudly and openly about the problem of violence by linking it to specific causes,
  • To empower people who want to help – to donate,
  • To give support to the women and children you work with.
  • We invite you to participate in the “8 Campaigns for March 8” contest.
  • The idea is to plan and run a campaign to raise funds for some of your basic activities or emergency needs.
  • We will select eight organizations based on the criteria:
  • The realism of the campaign goal, including financial;
  • A specific and clear idea of what you want to raise funds for;
  • A preliminary idea of what you will do during the campaign to reach its financial goal.

We will offer you:

  • Preliminary short training for making a successful campaign with a small financial goal
  • A detailed model of an individual campaign plan to use as a planning tool
  • A brief general meeting to discuss the progress of your campaigns once they are launched
  • Ongoing one-to-one support with advice and feedback as needed
  • Inclusion in the fundraising platforms Platform.bg and DMS 17777
  • Facebook advertising of €100 per campaign on BCause pages
  • Media promotion of the joint campaign “8 campaigns for March 8.”

BCause Foundation will support the organizations by adding an amount of up to BGN 5000 to the financial result. The funds are from our Fund for Supporting Women Victims of Domestic Violence and are provided by the donors of the traditional Thanksgiving dinner in November 2023, DSK Bank and donors of Platform.bg.

Apply by submitting a completed form by February 19, 2024.

The competition is only open to organizations registered under the Non-Profit Legal Entities Act for public benefit
