Marking its fifth year, Acronis honors the Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius by donating 100 books to 4th Primary School “St. St. Cosmas and Damian”, Sandanski, in collaboration with Ciela Bookstore and BAIT
Continuing its tradition of supporting education in Bulgaria, Acronis is pleased to announce its fifth consecutive annual donation of books to a Bulgarian school. In honor of the Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, and with the valued partnership of Ciela bookstore and BAIT, this year Acronis will donate 100 books to 4th Primary School “St. St. Cosmas and Damian”, Sandanski.
This year’s donation marks a significant milestone for Acronis’ philanthropic efforts in Bulgaria. For the past five years, through its Acronis Cyber Foundation Program, the company has demonstrated its unwavering commitment to fostering a love of learning and providing essential resources to students across the country. Each year, a different Bulgarian school has benefited from this initiative, receiving a collection of 100 or more books carefully selected to enrich their library and support the educational curriculum.
Nick Grebennikoff, Chief Development Officer of Acronis, commented on this year’s initiative: “Reaching our fifth consecutive year of book donations fills us with immense pride. Supporting the educational journey of young Bulgarians is a cause close to our hearts at Acronis, and we believe these books will provide valuable tools for learning and inspiration for the students of 4th Primary School “St. St. Cosmas and Damian”, Sandanski. We are grateful for our continued partnerships with Ciela and BAIT in making this initiative a success year after year.”
4th Primary School “St. St. Cosmas and Damian”, will be the proud recipient of this year’s donation. This contribution of new books aims to further cultivate a vibrant learning environment within the school, offering both students and teachers access to a wider range of knowledge and literary works. Acronis firmly believes in the power of education to shape future generations and is delighted to continue this meaningful tradition.
“Thank you to Acronis Bulgaria for the donation on the luminous educational holiday—the Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian alphabet, education and culture, and of Slavic literature. The book is perhaps the most complex and greatest miracle among all the wonders created by humanity on its path toward happiness and future greatness.”, said Borislav Ivanov, Director of 4th Primary School “St. St. Cosmas and Damian”, Sandanski.
„For BAIT, supporting initiatives that promote education and knowledge sharing is a long-standing priority. We are proud to be part of this meaningful tradition with Acronis and Ciela, contributing to the development of young minds and encouraging a culture of learning. Every book is a step toward a brighter and more informed future“, said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natalia Futekova, the Deputy Chairperson of BAIT.
Acronis recognizes the vital role education plays in building a strong and prosperous future. The Acronis Cyber Foundation Program actively collaborates with non-profit organizations and government institutions to champion initiatives that promote knowledge and learning within the communities where Acronis operates. This annual book donation in Bulgaria is a testament to this commitment, driven by the passion and dedication of Acronis employees and partners.
This initiative is made possible thanks to the collaboration with Ciela – a well-known bookstore chain in Bulgaria that is committed to promoting cultural diversity and ensuring access to a variety of educational materials.
“For Ciela bookstores, supporting educational causes and promoting reading among young people has always been a deeply meaningful mission. We are glad that we can celebrate the Day of Saints Cyril and Methodius in the most meaningful way—with a book donation.
