Rule of Law and Legislative Reforms Committee in Focus: June Meeting Spotlights Reform, Collaboration, and Impact


On June 25th, the AmCham Rule of Law and Legislative Reforms (RLLR) Committee held a meeting to discuss legislative and policy updates, including Labor Code Amendments Project, judicial digitalization, administrative reform, and investment regulations. Members also received a briefing on AmCham’s interaction with the U.S. Commercial Law Development Program, covering IP protection, anti-corruption, and investment screening.

We shared outcomes from the 2025 Mid-Year Committees Alignment Meeting, highlighting the importance of cross-committee collaboration. The RLLR Committee stands ready to support the following priority areas and invites members with relevant expertise to help drive these efforts forward:

  • Removing legal barriers to wind energy (with the Energy Committee)
  • Legal aspects of CSRD reporting (with the Sustainability Committee)

The RLLR Committee is actively engaged in the areas of digital transformation and artificial intelligence within the judicial system. It is currently exploring the possibility of organizing a legal event focused on these topics, aimed at judges, legal practitioners, and members of the academic community.
