“A 15% tariff on Europe will bring temporary relief,” said Ivan Mihaylov, CEO of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, in an interview with Euronews Bulgaria. 

In the interview, he commented on the tariffs imposed by the US on certain European goods. According to him, the measure has the potential to bring short-term relief to tensions in transatlantic trade relations, however does not offer a long-term solution to existing differences.  

Mihaylov emphasized that the sustainable development of relations between the EU and the US requires constructive dialogue, trust, and joint work on strategic priorities. Building a stable trading environment depends not only on customs policies, but on a comprehensive approach to economic cooperation.
