The Rise to Shine initiative, which aims to provide early career orientation to high school students across Bulgaria, recently celebrated the completion of its second semester for 2025. And while words cannot begin to describe the impact that is generated by the work, numbers can.
To summarize the results, we visited 6 schools, totaling in over 670 participants. A new design was implemented as well as updating and improving the presentation content. Game models were introduced to increase participant engagement as well as presenting real life work-related case studies.
The balance sheet for the second semester of 2025 is as follows:

The wonderful team, in the face of Petya Nikolova-Ismailova (DSV); Delyana Veleva (Enery); Boyka Docheva (IBM), Violeta Karancheva-Tsvetanova (IBM); Irena Bushandrova (Pedersen & Partners); Ivelina Panamska (Moto-Pfohe); Slavyana Dokimova (Molson Coors); Antoaneta Petrova (Sensata Technologies); Vladislav Marinov (UBB); Veselina Staykova (Mondalez International); Blaga Todorova (HP Inc.); Simona Mihaylova (Paysafe); as well as Daniel Kiryakov and Iva Pavlova from AmCham Bulgaria’s team, which, has proven, for the second year in a row, that it believes in the value of the project and supports its “growth” to the point of becoming a self-organizing and increasingly recognizable format within our community.
Rise to Shine continues to prove that it is more than an initiative. It is a sustainable line with the goal to build future talent in Bulgaria with a mission to support their successful professional realization.
