As of 1 January 2026, in view of the euro introduction in Bulgaria, the registered share capital of companies is subject to automatic conversion from BGN to EUR by the Registry Agency.
- Companies are required to amend their constitutive acts to reflect the euro conversion of their capital and shares within 12 months from the euro introduction date.
- The amended constitutive acts must be submitted to the Commercial Register, together with the first subsequent application for registration of changes or publication of acts.
