The Rise to Shine initiative, which continues to provide early career orientation to high school students across Bulgaria, recently completed its first semester for 2026. As always, the initiative continues to generate and expand its positive influence.
On July 10th, 2026, the professionals behind the initiative met in a hybrid format to present and discuss the results of the first semester of 2026.
To summarize them, the Rise to Shine team visited 9 schools, totaling in over 374 participants.
The balance sheet for the first semester of 2026 is as follows:
- March 24 – Sofia, 56th – 70 participants
- March 31 – Sofia, 90th – 40 participants
- April 23 – Haskovo – Session 1 – 20 students
- May 7 – Sofia, PGEA – 100 participants
- May 8 – Sofia – 97th – 40 participants
- June 2 – Haskovo – Session 2 – 30 participants
- June 6 – Nova Zagora – 45 participants
- June 18 – Slivnitsa – 29 participants
Since its inception in 2024, Rise to Shine has achieved:
- 30 schools
- 12 cities – Svoge, Dimitrovgrad, Ruse, Sofia, Vratsa, Mezdra, Plovdiv, Haskovo, Lovech, Pravets, Slivnitsa, Nova Zagora
- 36 sessions held in schools
- 2,090+ students and teachers – participants
- A great team of professionals
