On September 28th, 2026, the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, with representatives of the Energy and Mineral Resources Committee, presented the Chamber’s Energy White Paper to the Energy Minister Iva Petrova.
The following themes, topics and priorities were discussed:
- The Need to Develop a National Energy Strategy for the Country and to Update or Create a New Integrated “Energy and Climate” Plan for the Republic of Bulgaria
- Development of the Mineral Resources Industry – Implementation of the National Strategy for the Development of the Mineral Resources Industry
- Proposal by the Chamber to the Ministry of Energy to consider using the European Commission’s Technical Support Instrument
