Defense and Security Committee

AmCham Bulgaria’s Defense and Security Working Group was established in late 2024 to meet members’ expectations, to streamline the internal coordination and to strenghten AmCham’s position and dialogue in the area of defense. As per a decision of the Board of Directors in December 2025, it was been promoted to Defense and Security Committee.

It aims to support Bulgaria’s defense modernization processes, encourage strategic industry cooperation, and enhance dialogue between business, government, and international partners. This new initiative reflects AmCham’s commitment to fostering Bulgarian – U.S. collaboration in defense and security, while contributing to Bulgaria’s national goals, fulfilling NATO obligations and targets, and regional stability.
