ham Human Capital and Education Committee on September&nbsp\;30th\, 2026\,

\n\n\n\n\nWhat to ExpectAs we enter the active business season\, we would
like to invite the members of the AmCham Human Capital and Education Commi
ttee to a kick-off meeting to align on the Committee’s priorities for th
e months ahead\, present the activities and events currently in the pipeli
ne\, and discuss how members can contribute to and support the implementat
ion of Committee's agenda. The second topic of the meeting will be&nbsp\;Wo
rkforce Longevity: Are Our Organizations Designed for Longer Working Lives
?\n\n\n\nLonger lives\, demographic change\, shrinking talent pools and ra
pid technological transformation are reshaping the world of work and chall
enging organizations to sustain their talent for longer. During the meetin
g\, we will introduce Workforce Longevity as a strategic organizational ch
allenge: how companies develop\, sustain and deploy talent across longer a
nd less linear working lives. Rather than treating longevity as a wellbein
g or age-management issue\, the session connects demographic change with w
orkforce planning\, continuous learning\, career design\, health and capac
ity\, and knowledge retention.\n\n\n\nThe meeting will conclude with&nbsp\
;an open discussion around two questions identified as particularly pressi
ng for organizations today: how to build the skills we cannot yet name\, a
nd how to design workforce health that people actually use.&nbsp\;Particip
ants will receive a short set of questions in advance and are encouraged t
o come ready to share their own organization's experience.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

ng\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nQuestions for Reflection Before the Meeting\n\n\n\nTo ma
ke our discussion on Workforce Longevity as meaningful and practical as po
ssible\, we invite you to reflect on the following questions in advance an
d come prepared to share examples and insights from your own organization.
\n\n\n\nOn the Skills of the Future\n\n\n\n\nName one role in your organiz
ation that you believe will not exist in ten years. Now name the person do
ing it today. What is your plan for them?\n\n\n\nWhich tasks in your organ
ization will be done substantially differently in two years because of AI
 - and is anyone currently being trained for what remains? Not the tasks th
at disappear. The ones that change shape.\n\n\n\nThink of the last three p
eople who left you for a better role elsewhere. Could that role have exist
ed here? If the answer is yes for even one of them\, you did not lose them
to the market - you lost them to your own structure.\n\n\n\n\nOn Workfor
 ce Health\n\n\n\n\nYour health and wellbeing program&nbsp\;is well-designe
d\, well-communicated\, and barely used. Is that an employee engagement pr
oblem -&nbsp\;or a signal that it is solving a problem your people do not
recognize?\n\n\n\nLook this up: compare how many of your employees over 50
used any part of your health offering last year with how many under 35 di
 d. Which way does the gap run -&nbsp\; and does that match who needs it mo
st?\n\n\n\nYour strongest performers are frequently your most depleted. Wh
at in your current system would notice that before a resignation letter do
 es?\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow to Participate\n\n\n\nTo attend the meeting\, ple
ase register below by September 29th\, 12:00 p.m. Please note this is an A
mCham members-only event. Working language will be Bulgarian.\n
